In the first quarter of 2025, the Que Son District Party Committee focused on reorganizing and streamlining the political system's organizational structure; developing working regulations, adjusting and supplementing the annual work program and plan, assigning tasks, arranging workspaces, and providing the necessary conditions to ensure work stability.
The leadership capacity and fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations, as well as the quality of cadres and Party members, have been enhanced. During the quarter, Que Son district recruited 23 new Party members, bringing the total number of Party members in the district Party committee to 4,895.
The Que Son District Party Committee directed the District People's Committee to issue a plan for achieving double-digit growth targets. Strict adherence to responsibility in the implementation of public investment and disbursement of public investment capital was emphasized. Total state budget revenue in the district reached over 245 billion VND, achieving 20% of the provincial target; of which revenue generated from economic activities reached 42.5 billion VND.
The district has submitted dossiers to the province requesting verification and recognition of Que Lam, Que Phong, and Que Thuan communes as achieving new rural commune standards, Que Hiep and Que Xuan 2 communes as achieving advanced new rural commune standards, and Que Phu commune as achieving model new rural commune standards in 2024. The entire district has registered 21 products to participate in the OCOP Program in 2025.
In particular, the district successfully organized activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the homeland and effectively carried out the work of caring for policy beneficiary families and social welfare recipients.
During the quarter, the District's Fund for Eliminating Temporary Housing and the Fund for the Poor supported the construction of 28 new houses and the repair of 3 houses for poor and disadvantaged households with a budget of 1.77 billion VND; to date, 201 out of 217 households in the district have received support to eliminate temporary housing with a total capital of 8.87 billion VND.
