As one of the 7 mountainous communes located in the West of Ba Vi district, Ba Trai commune has a natural area of up to 2,017 hectares, a population of over 15,000 people, of which the Muong ethnic group accounts for 48%.

Not only preserving their own cultural features in daily life, the ethnic minority community, especially local women members, are contributing to the development of high-quality economic development models, including dairy farming.
