Vinh Phuc Department of Transport stops organizing driving tests

Báo Xây dựngBáo Xây dựng18/02/2025

Vinh Phuc Department of Transport announced to stop organizing driving tests for cars and motorbikes in the province from February 18.

The suspension of driving tests is to review and transfer the task of issuing driving licenses from the Ministry of Transport to the Ministry of Public Security under the direction of the Vietnam Road Administration.

According to the Vinh Phuc Department of Transport, this suspension is based on two documents of the Vietnam Road Administration, including: Document No. 746 dated February 12 on reviewing and preparing to hand over the task of testing and issuing driving licenses and Document No. 802 dated February 14 on transferring this task to the Ministry of Public Security.

Vinh Phuc has stopped organizing car and motorbike driving tests in the province since February 18.

The Vinh Phuc Department of Transport requires driving training facilities in the province to review and compile a list of students who have graduated by the end of February 2025, including those who were absent or failed the exam, and report in writing for the Department to synthesize and hand over to the Provincial Police.

This is to ensure that the organization of the examination after the transfer takes place smoothly, without affecting the rights of students.

Vinh Phuc Department of Transport requests agencies, driver training and testing centers as well as people in the province to proactively grasp information and coordinate implementation.
