According to statistics, 19 houses in Son My commune were affected by the storm, causing damage to some households. Some houses had their roofs completely blown off, while others had partial roof damage and other structures damaged. Among those injured, Mr. Ho Phan Luc Chau (Pho Tri village) suffered serious injuries and was promptly taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. Many families with damaged houses are concentrated in villages 3, Pho Tri, Go Don, Suoi Bang, and village 1.

The scene revealed damaged crops (acacia, scattered trees, fruit trees, and 40 rubber trees (20 years old)). Authorities are currently compiling detailed damage reports for the villages. Some roads in the villages were eroded, but the damage was minor and residents have repaired them themselves, allowing for continued transportation.

On the morning of July 21st, the leaders of the commune's People's Committee, along with relevant agencies, directly went to the scene to direct the mobilization of military , police, border guard forces, and member organizations of the Fatherland Front to help people temporarily cover the area, clean up the scene, protect property, and minimize further damage caused by the complex weather conditions. They also provided financial assistance of 3 million VND to each seriously injured person and 1 million VND to each household whose house was damaged.

Mr. Nguyen Le Thanh, Secretary of Son My Commune, said: "Immediately after the incident occurred, the local authorities and other forces were on standby, actively assisting people in cleaning up and repairing roofs. Commune leaders also visited and provided initial financial assistance to families with injured members and those who suffered heavy losses. The commune's functional departments are currently assessing the damage to submit a support plan in accordance with the law."

The Fatherland Front Committee of the commune actively mobilized local organizations and people to support the on-site forces, working together to overcome the consequences of the natural disaster, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance of the community. Currently, forces are assisting people in repairing temporary roofs, cleaning houses, rearranging furniture, and covering damaged areas, helping people to quickly stabilize their lives. They are also providing essential supplies (rice and instant noodles) and arranging safe temporary accommodation for affected households.

Local authorities are closely monitoring weather developments, especially Typhoon No. 3, to take timely preventive measures and minimize damage to people and property. They are also monitoring the situation regarding heavy rainfall that could cause flash floods and localized flooding in the area.
