According to Ms. Nguyen Kieu Oanh, inspecting and controlling goods is a regular task of the Market Management force, especially during fairs that attract large numbers of people and tourists.

"The goal is to ensure that all products at the fair have clear origins and meet quality standards, contributing to building an image of a civilized, safe, and trustworthy fair," Ms. Oanh emphasized.

Representatives from the Hanoi Market Management Department also stated that throughout the first Autumn Fair - 2025, market management forces will conduct regular and surprise inspections, focusing on items at risk of violating labeling, quality, and food safety regulations.

Previously, the Organizing Committee of the 2025 Autumn Fair sent a document to the Hanoi City Market Management Department regarding the inspection, control of prices, and handling of violations at the first Autumn Fair – 2025. Accordingly, the first Autumn Fair – 2025 is an event of significant political, economic, and foreign affairs importance for the country, chaired and organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade under the direction of the Prime Minister in Official Dispatch No. 172/CD-TTg dated September 25, 2025, and taking place from October 26 to November 4, 2025 at the Vietnam National Exhibition and Convention Center (VEC), Dong Anh, Hanoi.

To ensure that commercial activities, product displays, and presentations at the Fair are conducted in a civilized manner and in accordance with the law, the Organizing Committee requests the Hanoi City Market Management Department - Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade to: Coordinate with the Organizing Committee to strengthen inspection and control of prices in the display and sales areas within the Fair grounds; promptly detect and correct violations of regulations on pricing, price listing, and selling goods at incorrect prices.

At the same time, handle or recommend handling in accordance with current regulations for cases of violations; guide businesses and units participating in the Fair to strictly comply with regulations on price listing and selling goods at the listed prices.
