Strengthening the relationship between Oudomxay province (Laos) and Ha Nam province

In her welcoming remarks to the delegation, Ms. Dinh Thi Lua, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee, expressed her pleasure in receiving and working with the delegation and informed them of the results of Party building, political system building, and socio-economic development in Ha Nam province.

Comrade Dinh Thi Lua, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee, delivered a speech at the conference.

The Deputy Secretary of the Standing Committee of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee expressed confidence that, within the framework of the delegation's visit and work in Ha Nam province, the people's representatives of Ha Nam and Oudomxay provinces would continue to exchange experiences in implementing friendship activities between the two provinces; and at the same time, propose measures to further consolidate and strengthen the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Ha Nam and Oudomxay provinces, bringing this relationship to a new level.

The Deputy Secretary of the Standing Committee of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee also expressed his wish for the two provinces of Ha Nam and Oudomxay to continue cultural exchanges, sign cooperation agreements to expand cooperation in several fields, and implement more meaningful and practical cooperation activities. Through this, the strong and comprehensive friendship between the two localities will be further strengthened.

In his response, Comrade Bounkhong Lachiemphone, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Oudomxay Province (Lao People's Democratic Republic), expressed his gratitude for the warm and thoughtful reception given by Ha Nam Province to the delegation. The Governor emphasized that the relationship between Ha Nam and Oudomxay provinces is a long-standing traditional one, spanning many fields and achieving positive results.

Comrade Bounkhong Lachiemphone, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Oudomxay Province (Lao People's Democratic Republic), delivered a speech at the conference.

On this occasion, Comrade Bounkhong Lachiemphone suggested that in the coming time, the two provinces should continue to effectively implement the signed agreements and maintain good relations between the two provinces; he hoped that the leaders of Ha Nam province would continue to direct and promote the departments and agencies to effectively implement the signed agreements; he requested Ha Nam province to support the provision of scholarships for human resource training in Oudomxay province within the framework of the province; he also requested the sharing of experiences in building the Public Administration Center of the province and in the field of new rural development and hoped to attract more businesses from Ha Nam province to invest in model projects in Oudomxay province.

During the talks, delegates exchanged information on socio-economic development; the results of cooperation in the past period, and directions for promoting cooperation in several areas in the future.
