"We must build an IT industry based on high-tech hardware and software; we must build an IT and communication infrastructure that ensures the convergent development of electronic, telecommunication, and information technology services in the near future," said Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CMC Technology Group, at the anniversary celebration.
Minister Nguyen Manh Hung presented certificates of commendation to CMC collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the development of the IT industry in Vietnam.
At the celebration, the Minister of Information and Communications , Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, presented a special birthday gift to CMC: "CMC, embrace a national mission, a mission to solve a problem, a pain point of the country and of humanity, so that the country may prosper and humanity may be happier. The nation and its people are eternal, and businesses that are connected to it will also endure."
It is known that during its 30 years of development, CMC Technology Group has achieved the following accomplishments and made significant marks:
- CMC Creative Space boasts a world-class, neutral data center with a land area of 13,133 m² located in Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
- CMC has also received investment approval for the construction of a second CMC Creative Space in the Hoa Lac High-Tech Park, with a construction area of 3.88 hectares and a total investment of over 2,000 billion VND.
- CMC Technology Group also owns 2,500 km of CVCS (Cross Vietnam Cable System) backbone lines, the first Vietnamese cable line connecting across Southeast Asia, which is a non-physical digital infrastructure with a digital ecosystem for organizations and businesses.
In addition, CMC has focused on investing in training high-quality digital human resources, highlighted by the opening of CMC University, the first digital university model in Vietnam.
