Tay Ninh announced 7 social housing projects with nearly 100 hectares identified for investment.

The People's Committee of Tay Ninh province has just issued a decision announcing the list of projects identified for investment in social housing construction in the province, with 7 key projects, total area of ​​nearly 98 hectares, providing about 24,400 apartments in the coming time.

Accordingly, the projects aim to meet the housing needs of workers, employees, officials, and other policy beneficiaries, while also concretizing Resolution No. 201/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly and Decree No. 192/2025/ND-CP of the Government on specific policies for the development of social housing.

The 7 projects include: A concentrated social housing area in Long An ward, covering 30 hectares, with a total investment of 9,877 billion VND, comprising integrated technical infrastructure, social infrastructure, and architectural works, serving the housing needs of officials, civil servants, and workers who have to change their workplaces due to administrative unit reorganization.

The Thạnh Lợi Commune Social Housing Project covers an area of ​​10 hectares with a total investment of VND 3,292 billion. The Lương Hòa Commune Social Housing Project also covers an area of ​​10 hectares with a total investment of VND 3,292 billion. The Đức Lập Hạ Commune Concentrated Social Housing Area covers 28 hectares with a total investment of VND 9,219 billion. The Mỹ Hạnh Commune Social Housing Project covers 8.1 hectares with a total investment of VND 2,667 billion. The Cần Giuộc Commune Social Housing Project covers 7.45 hectares with a total investment of VND 2,452 billion. The Cần Giuộc Commune Social Housing Project covers 3.8 hectares with a total investment of VND 1,384 billion.

The implementation period for these projects ranges from 3 to 5 years from the date the province approves the investment plan and assigns the investor to carry out the project.

These projects will receive 100% funding for compensation and land clearance, and will be subject to bidding procedures to select investors in accordance with Resolution No. 15/2024/NQ-HĐND, dated October 15, 2024, of the Provincial People's Council.

The Department of Construction is tasked with receiving, appraising, and submitting investment policy approval documents to the Provincial People's Committee, while also coordinating closely with relevant departments and agencies to ensure timely implementation.

The announcement of these 7 projects demonstrates Tay Ninh province's determination to strongly develop social housing, creating conditions for low-income people, workers, and laborers to have stable housing, contributing to promoting social welfare and sustainable urban development.

A social housing project has been completed and put into use.

Previously, Decision No. 444/QD-TTg, dated February 27, 2025, of the Prime Minister assigned the target for social housing completion in Tay Ninh province for the period 2025-2030 to be 80,240 units (formerly Long An 70,740 units, former Tay Ninh 9,500 units).

According to the Department of Construction, 13 social housing projects for workers and low-income earners have been completed in the province, with a total of 4,358 units (including 7 projects and 1,958 units completed in the former Long An province; and 6 projects and 2,400 units completed in the former Tay Ninh province).
