Tay Ninh announced 7 social housing projects with nearly 100 hectares identified for investment.

The People's Committee of Tay Ninh province has just issued a decision announcing the list of projects identified for investment in social housing construction in the province, with 7 key projects, total area of ​​nearly 98 hectares, providing about 24,400 apartments in the coming time.

Accordingly, the projects aim to meet the housing needs of workers, employees, officials, civil servants, public employees and policy beneficiaries, while concretizing Resolution No. 201/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly and Decree No. 192/2025/ND-CP of the Government on specific policies for social housing development.

7 projects include: Concentrated social housing area in Long An ward, area of ​​30 hectares, total investment of 9,877 billion VND, synchronous construction of technical infrastructure, social infrastructure and architectural works, serving the housing needs of officials, civil servants and workers who have to change their workplace due to administrative unit arrangement.

Thanh Loi Commune Social Housing Project, area 10ha, total investment 3,292 billion VND. Luong Hoa Commune Social Housing Project, area 10ha, total investment 3,292 billion VND. Duc Lap Ha Commune Concentrated Social Housing Area, area 28ha, total investment 9,219 billion VND. My Hanh Commune Social Housing Project, area 8.1ha, total investment 2,667 billion VND. Can Giuoc Commune Social Housing Project, area 7.45ha, total investment 2,452 billion VND. Can Giuoc Commune Social Housing Project, area 3.8ha, total investment 1,384 billion VND.

Project implementation time is from 3 to 5 years from the date the province approves the investment policy and assigns the investor to implement.

These projects will be supported with 100% of compensation and site clearance costs, and will be bid to select investors according to Resolution No. 15/2024/NQ-HDND, dated October 15, 2024 of the Provincial People's Council.

The Department of Construction is assigned to receive documents, appraise and submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval of investment policy, and at the same time closely coordinate with relevant departments and branches to ensure implementation progress.

The announcement of the list of 7 projects this time demonstrates Tay Ninh province's determination to strongly develop the social housing fund, creating conditions for low-income people, workers and laborers to settle down, contributing to promoting social security and sustainable urban development.

A social housing project has been completed and put into use.

Previously, Decision No. 444/QD-TTg, dated February 27, 2025 of the Prime Minister assigned the target of social housing completed in the period of 2025-2030 of Tay Ninh province as 80,240 (old Long An 70,740 units, old Tay Ninh 9,500 units).

According to the Department of Construction, currently, the province has completed 13 social housing projects for workers and low-income people with a construction scale of 4,358 units (of which the old Long An completed 7 projects, 1,958 units; the old Tay Ninh completed 6 projects, 2,400 units)./.
