Thai Nguyen City completes 2 positions of Chairman of People's Council and Vice Chairman of People's Committee

On the afternoon of February 27, the People's Council of Thai Nguyen City, Thai Nguyen Province held the 15th Session (special session). At this session, delegates of the People's Council of Thai Nguyen City, term XIX, 2021-2026, elected Ms. Duong Thi Thu Hang , member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Council to hold the position of Chairwoman of the People's Council of Thai Nguyen City for the term 2021-2026.

The meeting of the People's Council of Thai Nguyen City also elected Mr. Pham Duc Giang , Chief of Office of the People's Council and People's Committee of the city, to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen City for the 2021-2026 term.

These are the positions that were elected after the previous positions were transferred. Specifically: Mr. Nguyen Hoang Mac , Standing Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Thai Nguyen City, was transferred to work in Phu Luong District. Currently, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Mac is holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Luong for the 2020-2025 term; Mr. Le Quang Minh , Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen City, was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment from April 15, 2023.

Also at this Session, the People's Council of Thai Nguyen City gave opinions on the Submission and draft Resolution on detailed allocation of the 2024 state budget expenditure estimates for units (phase 1) and some contents related to personnel work. Accordingly, for the 2024 state budget expenditure estimates, Thai Nguyen City plans to spend over 174 billion VND for 5 units to carry out tasks to support poor households; urban management work; radio and television;education support...
