Following the dissolution of the City Police Department, 102 officers and Party members of the City Police Department 's Party Committee were transferred to specialized departments of the Provincial Police Department; 70 officers and Party members were transferred to police stations in the city's communes and wards.

As of March 19th, the police force in 15 communes and wards had 235 officers and soldiers. Immediately after implementing the new model, the police forces in these communes and wards quickly grasped the situation, and administrative procedures related to the people were resolved quickly, promptly, and conveniently. However, there are still some difficulties such as: cramped facilities, inadequate equipment for administrative procedures under Project 06; funding to maintain order and reporting on the situation is slow...

Party Secretary Nguyen Hung Vuong requested that local Party committees, authorities, and police in communes and wards proactively monitor the situation and promptly address any problems or issues arising at the grassroots level. At the same time, he urged them to strengthen political and ideological education and propaganda to raise awareness among cadres, civil servants, soldiers, armed forces personnel, and all segments of the population regarding the fight against crime and the maintenance of security and order in the area.
