During the meeting with the leaders of Adamed Group, Ms. Malgorzata Adamkiewicz, Chairman of the Group, and her colleagues stated that Adamed is a leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology group in Poland. Currently, the Group has more than 2,500 employees, two manufacturing plants in Poland and one in Vietnam.

Adamed participated in modernizing Davipharm's R&D center and manufacturing plant in Binh Duong. Davipharm is also one of the companies in Vietnam that meets EU-GMP standards, providing high-quality medicines in 12 different treatment areas not only for Vietnamese patients but also for export.

With its remarkable development, Adamed recognizes Vietnam's great investment potential, especially with the active support from the Government, government agencies, and local authorities. Therefore, Adamed intends and desires to expand its investment in Vietnam; and hopes to continue receiving the support of the Vietnamese Government.

Adamed is committed to producing high-quality pharmaceuticals, not only for economic development but also to serving people's health care and participating in other meaningful social activities; in particular, it hopes to change perceptions about products manufactured in Vietnam, including medicines...

Congratulations to Adamed on its successful investment in Vietnam; we welcome Adamed's expansion of investment scale, which aligns with Vietnam's policy of encouraging investment, especially in high-tech industries serving healthcare and improving the quality of life for the Vietnamese people.

The Prime Minister suggested that, in addition to producing medicines to serve the healthcare needs of the Vietnamese people, Admed should expand production to export its products to the ASEAN region with over 700 million people, Asia, and the rest of the world; especially by maximizing the advantages offered by the 17 FTAs that Vietnam has signed with 60 major markets worldwide, including European countries.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his wish that, along with improving product quality and reducing costs, Admed should build and promote its brand more strongly, so that Admed's products in general and Admed Vietnam (Davipharm) in particular can reach more consumers.

Regarding the proposal for Admed to expand investment and transfer technology to Vietnam, the Prime Minister stated that the Vietnamese Government will create the best conditions and resolve any obstacles to ensure the Group's smooth and efficient development in Vietnam.

During Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's meeting with the leaders of LOT Airlines, Mr. Michal Fijol, Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of LOT, stated that LOT is one of the world's most established airlines. As of August 2024, LOT owns a fleet of 80 aircraft and is the 18th largest airline in Europe, serving 105 domestic and international destinations across Europe, Asia, and North America.

Congratulating Vietnam on its significant achievements in economic development in general and the aviation industry in particular, LOT leaders affirmed the great potential for development of the aviation industry in Vietnam, including business passenger transport, tourist transport, and cargo transport.

In 2010, LOT launched a new route from Warsaw to Hanoi, which was initially very successful. However, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Warsaw-Hanoi route has been temporarily suspended since 2020.

Currently, LOT is interested in restoring business relations with Vietnam, specifically by resuming the Warsaw-Hanoi route, and expects to continue developing its aviation business in Vietnam, including passenger, tourism, and cargo transport, infrastructure development, and airport operations. The airline also operates charter flights between Warsaw and Phu Quoc, and in 2024 alone brought 15,000 Polish tourists to Vietnam.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh welcomed LOT's effective business operations in recent times despite the fluctuations in the global situation; and highly appreciated the cooperation between Vietnam Airlines and LOT in passenger transportation and cargo services.

Emphasizing the crucial role of aviation in connecting, integrating, and promoting cultural and people-to-people exchanges, the Prime Minister stated that Vietnam-Poland relations continue to develop well, and Vietnam has many advantages for developing the aviation sector. These are good foundations for further promoting economic, investment, and trade cooperation between the business communities of the two countries, including aviation businesses.

Acknowledging LOT Group's proposals regarding the resumption of operations in the Vietnamese market, the Prime Minister stated that there are no obstacles to this, as Vietnam is currently expanding airports such as Tan Son Nhat, Phu Quoc, and Nha Trang. The Prime Minister will instruct relevant Vietnamese agencies to immediately address LOT's proposals in accordance with regulations.

The Prime Minister suggested that LOT take the lead in reopening routes to Vietnam, continuing its cooperation with Vietnam Airlines to operate routes to Vietnam, including charter flights, bringing tourists to famous tourist destinations in Vietnam such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Ha Long, Phu Quoc... as well as countries in the region following the "one route, many destinations" model. LOT could be an extension of Vietnam Airlines in Central and Eastern Europe, while Vietnam Airlines could be an extension of LOT in Southeast Asia, the Prime Minister noted.

The Prime Minister also requested LOT to continue to cooperate closely with Vietnam Airlines and relevant agencies to exchange and answer related information, as well as to seek opportunities to expand its market in Vietnam.

The Vietnamese government is committed to creating all favorable conditions, in accordance with the law, to enable the corporation in particular and Polish investors in general to invest and conduct business effectively and sustainably, in compliance with Vietnamese law.
