Samsung DeX feature is not equipped on Galaxy Z Flip6

Samsung DeX is Samsung's breakthrough feature that turns the company's mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets into a workstation similar to a desktop environment.

It is known that the previous generation of Z Flip phones did not support this feature due to the poor cooling system. The Z Flip6 is the first phone in the product line equipped with a vapor chamber cooling system that helps control the temperature on the device better than any previous product models. However, Samsung still decided not to equip it with the Samsung DeX feature.

As such, users won't have access to one of the few features that can take advantage of the phone's improved performance and cooling capabilities.

Galaxy Z Flip6 has physical dimensions of 165.1 x 71.9 x 6.9 when opened. The device has a Dynamic AMOLED 2X main screen, 6.7 inches in size and sharp Full HD + resolution, with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

The secondary screen of the device is up to 3.9 inches in size - this is considered a breakthrough improvement, even larger than the 3.6-inch screen on Rarz +. This panel is integrated with Super AMOLED technology, 720 x 748 pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, helping users perform more tasks without having to open the phone.

The device is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset combined with up to 12GB of Ram and 256GB/512GB of storage.

The device will have a 50MP main camera using an f/1.8 aperture lens and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, there is a 10MP camera for users to take selfies and video calls.

Like the Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, they come with Galaxy AI features like Note, voice assistant, browser assistant, search circle, quick translation, smart sketch, photo editing...

In addition, the Z Flip6 also adds a number of features such as FlexWindow personalization, quick reply suggestions on FlexWindow, and the ability to display translation on both screens.

Despite not being offered with Samsung DeX, the Z Flip6 is still a phone that attracts users. Hopefully, Samsung will soon add Samsung DeX feature to this phone via upcoming software updates.
