Ho Chi Minh City: Traffic restrictions to serve the installation of artillery positions to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Liberation

On April 4, a representative of the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police said that they will implement a plan to limit traffic to serve the installation and operation of the ceremonial artillery site, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Restricted time: From 9:00 p.m. on April 6 to 3:00 a.m. on April 7, 2025; From 9:00 p.m. on April 18 to 0:00 a.m. on April 19, 2025; From 9:00 p.m. on April 22 to 0:00 a.m. on April 23, 2025; From 9:00 p.m. on April 25 to 0:00 a.m. on April 26, 2025; From 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on April 27, 2025; From 7:00 a.m. on April 30, 2025.

Accordingly, the following routes will be restricted: Nguyen Tat Thanh Street (from Hoang Dieu to Khanh Hoi Bridge); Ton Duc Thang Street (from Me Linh Square roundabout to the beginning of Khanh Hoi Bridge, including the underpass from Vo Van Kiet - Ho Tung Mau to ASEAN flagpole); Ham Nghi Street (from Ho Tung Mau to Ton Duc Thang); Nguyen Hue Street (from the end of the street to Ton Duc Thang); Dong Khoi Street (from Ngo Duc Ke to Ton Duc Thang).

Alternative route:

From District 4 to District 1: Route 1: Nguyen Tat Thanh - Hoang Dieu - Doan Van Bo - Calmette Bridge - Nguyen Cong Tru - Pasteur - Le Loi - Dong Khoi - Dong Du (or Mac Thi Buoi) - Hai Ba Trung - Me Linh Square roundabout - Ton Duc Thang.

Route 2: Nguyen Tat Thanh - Hoang Dieu - Ong Lanh bridge - Nguyen Thai Hoc - Nguyen Thi Nghia - Phu Dong Thien Vuong roundabout - Ly Tu Trong - Hai Ba Trung - Le Duan - Ton Duc Thang.

From District 1 to District 4:

Route 1: Ton Duc Thang - Me Linh Square roundabout - Hai Ba Trung - Le Thanh Ton - Pham Hong Thai - Phu Dong Thien Vuong roundabout - Nguyen Thi Nghia - Nguyen Thai Hoc - Ong Lanh bridge - Hoang Dieu - Nguyen Tat Thanh.

Route 2: Ton Duc Thang - Le Duan - Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Nguyen Cong Tru - Calmette bridge - Doan Van Bo - Hoang Dieu - Nguyen Tat Thanh.

Route 3: Ton Duc Thang - Le Duan - Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Le Loi - Tran Hung Dao - Nguyen Thai Hoc - Ong Lanh bridge - Hoang Dieu - Nguyen Tat Thanh.

The Traffic Police Department recommends that people follow the instructions of the authorities, the road signs and choose the appropriate route to avoid congestion. The Traffic Police will proactively adjust traffic flow to minimize the impact on people's daily lives.
