Ho Chi Minh City supports technology development and application for Ca Mau province

The Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City and the Department of Science and Technology of Ca Mau province have just had a working session and agreed to implement the Cooperation Program in the field of Science and Technology for the period 2024-2025.

Accordingly, the two sides will coordinate to implement contents such as sharing experiences in supporting the development of the innovative startup ecosystem of Ho Chi Minh City with Ca Mau province; focusing on the fields of environment, green energy, digital transformation and climate change adaptation agriculture . The two sides will also coordinate to deploy the construction of a Technology Exchange, linking data of the Technology Exchange between Ho Chi Minh City and Ca Mau province.

In addition, the two sides also cooperate to support research and development of circular economic and green economic models. According to Mr. Nguyen Viet Dung, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City, the city wishes to share and support localities in solving very specific and practical problems in technology. The Department will support and connect with research groups and provide technology according to the needs of Ca Mau province.
