The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology and the Ca Mau Provincial Department of Science and Technology recently held a meeting to agree on the implementation of a cooperation program in the field of science and technology for the period 2024-2025.
Accordingly, the two sides will cooperate in implementing activities such as sharing experiences in supporting the development of the innovation and startup ecosystem between Ho Chi Minh City and Ca Mau province; focusing on the fields of environment, green energy, digital transformation, and climate change adaptation in agriculture . The two sides will also cooperate in building a Technology Exchange Platform and linking data between Ho Chi Minh City and Ca Mau province.
In addition, the two sides will cooperate in supporting research and development of circular economy and green economy models. According to Mr. Nguyen Viet Dung, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, the city wishes to share and support localities in solving very specific and practical problems in technology. The Department will support and connect with research groups and technology suppliers according to the needs of Ca Mau province.
