Ho Chi Minh City trains Party work for officials and civil servants

In addition to outlining general issues related to Party building work, the training conference is also an opportunity for cadres and civil servants to exchange professional knowledge.

On July 18, the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee coordinated with the advisory and support agencies of the City Party Committee and the Ho Chi Minh City Cadre Academy to organize a professional training conference for heads and deputy heads of the Party Building Committees and Party Committee Offices of 168 Party Committees of wards, communes, and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City. The training conference took place over 2 days, from July 18 to 19, in both in-person and online formats.

Head of the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Van Thi Bach Tuyet delivered the opening speech at the conference.

Comrade Van Thi Bach Tuyet, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, commented that in the beginning, when the two-level local government apparatus was operating, civil servants of advisory and support agencies of the Party Committee had just started their work but had to advise on a very large volume of work.

Through understanding the situation, the apparatus of the political system has gradually operated stably. "To achieve the above results, the team of cadres and civil servants of the city has made great efforts and strived to complete the assigned tasks well," commented the Head of the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

According to him, the initial period of operation was confusing and difficult, but now the apparatus has been operating smoothly. However, the Party Building Committees of the localities have many new cadres and civil servants, some of whom have never done Party building work. The training is organized to meet the requirements of the work.

He asked the trainees to uphold their sense of responsibility, focus on the training class, and focus on absorbing and receiving new knowledge.

Participating in the training conference, trainees were trained on topics such as personnel work; internal political protection work; Party organization, Party members, preparation work for Party Congresses at commune, ward and special zone levels for the 2025-2030 term and instructions on using the Congress progress monitoring software 2.0.

Trainees were also trained in some contents on internal affairs; deployed and guided in some contents on Party financial management; some key contents of propaganda and mass mobilization work in the new situation .
