On September 18 and 19, Nghe An Red Cross Association coordinated with a number of units and volunteer clubs to organize a gift-giving program for students of the Primary Boarding School and Kindergarten of Na Loi Commune, Ky Son District. The program also received support from the Young Buds in the Sun Club, the Red Cross Associations of Dien Chau District, Cua Lo Town and benefactors inside and outside the province.

At the program, representatives of the Red Cross Society and teachers presented 417 gifts including uniforms, candy, milk, etc. to primary school and kindergarten students at the main and remote locations of Na Loi commune. The delegation also presented 1 set of portable speakers and 12 sets of team ceremonial uniforms to Na Loi Primary Boarding School. The total value of the gifts was over 80 million VND.

More than 400 gifts were given to disadvantaged students in Na Loi commune.

This is an encouragement for ethnic minority children at the beginning of the new school year, giving them more motivation to attend class more diligently; at the same time, it shows the community's concern for the lives and studies of students in mountainous and border areas with many difficulties and deprivations.

This is an activity within the "Mid-Autumn Festival in the Village" program initiated by the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society for the past 9 years. However, due to storm No. 3 causing heavy damage in the northern provinces, the Mid-Autumn Festival activities were not organized as planned.
