From November 25th to 27th, the Department of Finance organized a training conference on conducting a comprehensive inventory of public assets at agencies, organizations, and units, including infrastructure assets invested in and managed by the State, for over 1,500 delegates. Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders from the Department of Public Asset Management, Ministry of Finance ; and leaders from various departments, sectors, and localities.

In his opening remarks at the conference, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Inventory is one of the important contents in public asset management, aiming to statistically record the current state of public assets at agencies, organizations, and units as a basis for improving policies and laws on the management and use of public assets, serving the development of strategies and plans for socio -economic development of the province and the country.
Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, delivered a speech at the conference.
The time available for conducting the public asset inventory is limited, therefore, it is requested that the heads of the public asset inventory steering committees in districts and cities, and the leaders of departments and agencies, organize the thorough understanding and implementation of Decision No. 213/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister , and the overall inventory plan of the province, sector, and locality, ensuring seriousness, quality, efficiency, and adherence to the assigned schedule and responsibilities. Attendees of the conference should listen attentively, take thorough notes, and actively participate in discussions to clarify any remaining issues or ambiguities, so that the inventory can be carried out correctly according to regulations.

At the training conference, delegates, including members of the steering committee for the general inventory of public assets, civil servants, public employees, and accountants directly involved in the management and inventory of public assets and infrastructure assets at agencies, organizations, and units in the province, listened to presentations from speakers from the Department of Public Asset Management, Ministry of Finance, who provided guidance on the general inventory process, including the declaration of general inventory forms; how to declare information of the inventory unit; how to declare inventory indicators; determining the value of fixed assets at agencies, organizations, and units not yet recorded in accounting books; how to enter and approve data on the general inventory software; checking and comparing data before generating reports and sending necessary information to the direct management agency and higher-level management agencies in accordance with regulations… ensuring that the general inventory of public assets is carried out smoothly and in accordance with regulations.
The delegates also received answers from the lecturers regarding issues and difficulties related to the general inventory of public assets.
The conference helped officials and civil servants understand the procedures for inventory; how to use the Ministry of Finance's public asset inventory software to carry out the inventory and complete it according to the plan and timeframe set for their respective agencies, organizations, and units.
