During the 3 days of November 25-27, the Department of Finance organized a training conference on conducting a general inventory of public assets at agencies, organizations, units, and infrastructure assets invested and managed by the State for over 1,500 delegates. Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Department of Public Asset Management, Ministry of Finance ; leaders of departments, branches, and localities.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Inventory is one of the important contents in public asset management, the goal is to compile statistics on the current status of public assets at agencies, organizations and units as a basis for perfecting policies and laws on management and use of public assets, serving the development of strategies and plans for socio -economic development of the province and the country.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the conference.

The time to carry out the public asset inventory is not much, so it is recommended that the heads of the steering committees for public asset inventory of districts and cities, and leaders of departments and branches organize the dissemination and implementation of Decision No. 213/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister , the general inventory plan of the province, branches and localities seriously, with quality, efficiency, on schedule and assigned responsibilities. The delegates attending the conference seriously, focused on listening, took full notes, actively participated in exchanging, discussing, clarifying the remaining issues, and unclear issues so that the inventory can be implemented in accordance with regulations.

At the training conference, delegates who are members of the steering committee for the general inventory of public assets, civil servants, public employees, and accountants directly performing the management and inventory of public assets and infrastructure assets at agencies, organizations, and units in the province listened to the reporter of the Department of Public Asset Management, Ministry of Finance, deploy instructions on the general inventory work, declaration of general inventory forms of public assets; how to declare information of inventory units; how to declare inventory indicators; determine the value of fixed assets at agencies, organizations, and units that have not been monitored in accounting books; how to enter data, approve data on the general inventory software; check and compare data before rendering reports and sending necessary information to the direct management agency and the superior management agency in accordance with regulations... to ensure that the general inventory of public assets is carried out smoothly and in accordance with regulations.

Delegates also had their questions and concerns related to the general inventory of public assets answered by lecturers.

Through the conference, officials and civil servants will understand the procedures and processes of inventory; how to use the general inventory software of the Ministry of Finance to carry out inventory and complete it on schedule at their agencies, organizations and units.
