In the first six months of 2023, Brigade 270 seriously implemented resolutions, directives, and orders from superiors; closely followed tasks, plans, and practical situations; and comprehensively and effectively carried out political and ideological work, achieving good results in many areas. Notably, the unit improved the quality of political and ideological education , information, and propaganda, ensuring it was properly oriented and responsive. Party committees and commanders of agencies and units effectively led and directed the implementation of principles, content, and procedures for managing the ideology of soldiers; and grasped and guided public opinion within the unit. They maintained the practice of studying "President Ho Chi Minh's Teachings," conducting political-cultural and spiritual activities, and "Law Day" with the theme "Learning one law each week."

Party committees and organizations have thoroughly understood and seriously implemented resolutions, directives, regulations, and guidelines from higher levels on Party building work. They have strictly adhered to the principles of Party organization and activities, primarily the principles of democratic centralism, collective leadership, individual responsibility, self-criticism, and criticism; and maintained a systematic Party meeting schedule. The 2023 Brigade-level Party Committee Secretary Competition was organized rigorously and seriously, accurately assessing the actual performance; and the unit achieved good results in the Excellent Grassroots Party Committee Secretary Competition organized by the Military Region. Speaking at the inspection, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau acknowledged and commended the achievements of the 270th Brigade in political and ideological work during the first six months of 2023. Looking ahead, to successfully complete assigned tasks, the Deputy Head of the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army requested the unit to regularly review, supplement, and consolidate combat readiness plans, ensuring thorough training to avoid being caught off guard. He also emphasized the need to strictly implement Resolution No. 1659-NQ/QUTW of the Central Military Commission on improving training quality for the period 2023-2030 and beyond; focusing on maintaining strict discipline in training, exercises, competitions, and sports events according to established plans and practical realities. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of improving the quality of regularization, strengthening discipline management, ensuring the safety of agencies and units, and contributing to building a strong and comprehensive unit.
