Hanoi University of Technology, Vietnam National University, is the first public university in Hanoi to announce benchmark scores, with the highest major being over 28 points and the lowest major being over 22 points.

Recently, the Principal of the University of Technology, Vietnam National University , Hanoi signed a decision approving the admission scores (standard scores) for regular universities in 2025. This is the first public university in Hanoi to announce standard scores.

According to the above decision, the information technology industry has the highest benchmark score, 28.19 points; the biotechnology industry has the lowest benchmark score, 22.13 points. The benchmark scores of the remaining 18 industries are in the range of 22.35 to nearly 28 points. Specifically as follows:

The benchmark score of a major is the same among admission combinations, determined based on the admission score (on a 30-point scale) and rounded to two decimal places.

In case many candidates have admission scores equal to the standard score at the end of the list, leading to exceeding the admission quota, the admission system will give priority to candidates with higher registration wishes.
