On the morning of January 5th, the University of Finance and Marketing announced its admissions information for the 2025 regular undergraduate program.
Three new academic programs have been added.
According to Associate Professor Phan Thi Hang Nga, head of the training management department at the University of Finance and Marketing, in 2025 the university will open three new training programs: auditing, economic management, and data science, bringing the total number of programs offered to 18.
For many years, the school has offered training in 15 majors (business administration, marketing, finance - banking, international business, accounting, management information systems, English language, economic mathematics, economic law, financial technology, tourism and travel service management, hotel management, restaurant and food service management, economics, real estate).
Despite opening new majors, the university will maintain its enrollment quota for 2025 at the same level as in previous years, in order to enhance the quality of education (the average enrollment quota for the period 2021-2024 was 4,375 students). The university will announce the specific quotas for each program and major later.
This year, the school will be admitting students into five programs: the standard program, the integrated program, the full English program (internationally oriented), and the specialized program.
Admissions are conducted through 6 methods, with mathematics being a mandatory subject combination.
In 2025, the school plans to recruit students through 6 methods:
Method 1: Direct admission, preferential admission, and priority admission according to the regulations on university-level admissions of the Ministry of Education and Training .
Method 2: Admission of students with good high school academic results according to 4 categories:
+ Category 1: High school graduates in 2025 with excellent academic performance in grades 10, 11, and 12.
+ Category 2: High school graduates in 2025 from specialized schools or gifted schools under the provincial/city/university administration with an average score of 7.0 or higher in each subject in the admission combination for grades 10, 11, and 12.
+ Category 3: High school graduates in 2025 who won first, second, or third prize in the provincial/city-level excellent student competition or science and technology competition, or who are members of the school/province/city team participating in the national excellent student competition or national-level science and technology competition, with an average score of 6.0 or higher in each subject in the admission combination for grades 10, 11, and 12.
+ Category 4: High school graduates in 2025 with an international English proficiency certificate such as IELTS 5.5 or higher (or an equivalent international English certificate), or an English certificate at level 4/6 or higher according to the 6-level foreign language proficiency framework used in Vietnam, issued by authorized educational institutions and still valid on the date the school receives the application for admission, and with a good academic record or higher in grades 10, 11, and 12.
Method 3: Admission based on high school academic results according to subject combinations.
Method 4: Admission based on the results of the 2025 aptitude test of the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.
Method 5: Admission based on the results of the computer-based university entrance assessment exam (V-SAT) for the 2025 admissions.
Method 6: Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam according to the general plan of the Ministry of Education and Training.
The school considers applications based on any combination of 3 subjects, including at least one compulsory subject, mathematics (not exceeding the number of subject combinations allowed by the current regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training).
50.5 billion VND allocated for student scholarships.
At the same time, the school also announced scholarships for students admitted in the 2025 intake with a total value of up to 50.5 billion VND.
