The delegation included Ms. Huynh Thi Phuc, Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation; and representatives from the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation and People's Council.

The delegation visited Hang Duong Cemetery to lay flowers and offer incense in remembrance of the heroic martyrs. In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation members observed a moment of silence, offering incense with heartfelt respect to the spirits of their ancestors, heroic martyrs, and patriotic compatriots. After the ceremony of laying flowers and offering incense in remembrance of the heroic martyrs, the delegates lit incense for the martyrs resting in Hang Duong Cemetery.
Continuing their journey, the delegation visited and presented gifts to former political prisoner Nguyen Xuan Vien (born in 1944, residential area No. 7) and war invalid Tran Van Tam (born in 1940, residential area No. 7).

At each location visited, Comrade Nguyen Van Loi cordially conversed with and listened to the recollections of the arduous yet proud resistance struggle of the individuals. On behalf of the delegation, Comrade Nguyen Van Loi expressed profound gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of former political prisoners, wounded soldiers, and martyrs in the cause of national liberation and reunification.

Comrade Nguyen Van Loi expressed his hope that outstanding individuals would continue to be shining examples for the younger generation to follow, working together to build Ho Chi Minh City into an increasingly civilized, modern, and compassionate city.

During a visit to the officers and soldiers of the Command of Defense Zone 6 - Con Dao Special Zone (Ho Chi Minh City Command), the Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation acknowledged the sense of responsibility and close coordination between the armed forces and the local authorities in the past period. Mr. Nguyen Van Loi expressed his hope that the unit would continue to promote solidarity, improve training quality, take care of the lives of officers and soldiers, and contribute to building an increasingly solid regional defense posture.


Receiving the delegation, Lieutenant Colonel Ma Le Thanh Phuong, Commander of the Defense Command of Zone 6 - Con Dao Special Zone, expressed his gratitude for the attention and support from the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation. He also affirmed that the unit will always remain united, excellently fulfilling all assigned tasks, and resolutely carrying out the mission of protecting sovereignty and maintaining political security and social order in the area and the special zone.
