Tran Van Giau High School for the Gifted opens new school year

On the morning of September 5, Tran Van Giau High School for the Gifted, Tay Ninh province held the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year and celebrated the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025). Attending the ceremony was Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Van Son.

In the 2024-2025 academic year, Tran Van Giau Specialized High School achieved many outstanding results. These included 16 students winning prizes in the National High School Excellent Student Selection Examination; 123 provincial-level excellent student awards; 38 medals in the April 30th Olympic competition; and 12 Olympic awards for specialized high schools in the Coastal and Northern Delta regions, etc.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Vice Principal of Tran Van Giau Specialized High School, Truong Thi Thu Ha, reminded the students that the strength of the collective is always greater than the strength of each individual. For many years, all activities leading to the school's success have been based on the spirit of unity. She also hoped that the 10th-grade students would quickly integrate and together build meaningful years of study in their "common home."

In the 2025-2026 school year, Tran Van Giau Specialized High School will have 892 students in 28 classes; of which, there will be 283 students in grade 10 across 9 classes.

The school has set key objectives for the new academic year: "Improving foreign language skills, information technology skills, strengthening moral education , and developing life skills," aiming to train a generation of students who are confident, knowledgeable, and contribute to building a more prosperous and beautiful homeland.

At the ceremony, delegates, along with all the administrators, teachers, and students of Tran Van Giau Specialized High School, watched live the ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the National Ministry of Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training ), reflecting on the glorious journey of the sector.

On this occasion, 9 students in the gifted student team were awarded prizes; 35 students from disadvantaged backgrounds received scholarships.
