Paying tribute to the heroic martyrs at the Quang Tri Citadel National Special Historical Site, the Hue City delegation observed a moment of silence to pay tribute to the generations of fathers and brothers who fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland during the 81 days and nights of fighting to protect the Citadel and Quang Tri Town in the fiery summer of 1972.
At the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery and the Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van and the delegates respectfully offered flowers and incense to the Central Memorial and the martyrs' graves, expressing deep gratitude for the noble sacrifices of the heroic martyrs for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.

Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery is the resting place of more than 10,200 martyrs who sacrificed their lives on the Ho Chi Minh Trail during the resistance war against the US to save the country. Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery is the eternal resting place of more than 10,000 heroic martyrs who fought and served on the Road 9 front, the Quang Tri battlefield and Laos during the resistance war against the US to save the country.
The incense offering and memorial activities of the Delegation of intellectuals, religious dignitaries, and prominent ethnic groups of Hue City in 2025 demonstrate the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", and at the same time educate today's generation about the tradition of patriotism, the resilient and indomitable revolutionary spirit of our army and people in the cause of national liberation.
