
This morning, July 15th, the central exchange rate announced by the State Bank of Vietnam is 25,148 VND/USD, an increase of 22 VND (0.09%) compared to yesterday's rate of 22,126 VND/USD.
With a margin of +/-5%, commercial banks also listed higher USD exchange rates compared to the previous day. Specifically, BIDV listed the USD buying and selling rates at 25,950-26,310 VND/USD, an increase of 30 VND; Vietcombank listed 25,950-26,310 VND/USD, an increase of 20 VND.
Agribank listed the exchange rate at 25,950-26,290 VND/USD, an increase of 20 VND; VietinBank traded at 25,960-26,320 VND/USD (buy/sell), an increase of 5 VND. Techcombank listed the rate at 25,858-26,392 VND/USD, an increase of 10 VND.
Other commercial banks, such as Eximbank, are trading at 24,443-26,300 VND/USD, unchanged from the end of yesterday. ACB is listing at 25,910-26,290 VND/USD, the same as the end of yesterday's trading.
In the free market, the USD/VND exchange rate this morning remained unchanged compared to the previous session, hovering around 26,360-26,430 VND/USD.
On the international market, the USD Index (DXY), a measure of the strength of the USD against six major currencies (EUR, JPY, GBP, CAD, SEK, CHF), stood at 98.07 points, up from yesterday's trading session (97.5 points).
