The VND/USD exchange rate did not fluctuate much on the first day of August.

On the morning of August 1, the State Bank of Vietnam announced the central exchange rate between VND and USD increased by 9 VND compared to the morning of July 31, to 25,249 VND/USD.

With a trading band of ±5%, the ceiling exchange rate of the day is determined to be 26,511 VND/USD and the floor exchange rate is 23,987 VND/USD. The reference exchange rate at the State Bank of Vietnam is 24,028 - 26,452 VND/USD (buy - sell).

At Vietcombank , the VND/USD exchange rate is at 25,990 - 26,380 (buy - sell), unchanged from July 31.

Similarly, 26,020-26,380 VND is the buying-selling price for USD at BIDV , no change compared to the previous day.

At VietinBank , the buying and selling rates of USD updated at 11:00 am today are 26,032-26,392 VND, an increase of 162 VND for buying and 12 VND for selling.

In the free market, the buying and selling rates of the USD simultaneously decreased by 10 VND, specifically at 25,990-26,380 VND/USD.
