The poverty rate of the whole Buon Don commune decreased by 6%, showing the clear effectiveness of support policies and the efforts of local people.

Buon Don commune currently has 1,793 households with 6,654 people, an increase of 11 households with 86 people compared to 2024. Up to this point, the commune has 26.10% poor households, a decrease of 6% compared to 2024. The multidimensional poverty rate is 37.87%, a decrease of 5.84% compared to 2024.

This result comes from the synchronous implementation and integration of many key support programs and policies. Specifically, in addition to implementing poverty reduction policies, other programs and projects have been integrated to support poor and near-poor households in developing production and accessing social services such as loans from the Bank for Social Policies, vocational training policies, agricultural extension, support for health, education , housing, legal aid, etc., contributing to job creation, poverty reduction and gradually improving the quality of life of poor and near-poor households.
