This morning, January 11th, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Ha Sy Dong, along with leaders from several departments and agencies, held a working session with a delegation from the Handicrafts Chamber of Halle, State of Sachsen-Anhalt (Federal Republic of Germany) and the Education and Investment Group Joint Stock Company (EI) to discuss cooperation in the fields of labor, training, and vocational study abroad.

During the meeting, after gaining a general understanding of the socio-economic situation, potential advantages, and policies of the province for businesses wishing to cooperate and invest in various fields, the leaders of the Handicraft Chamber of Halle, Saxony-Anhalt State, stated that in 2023, the Handicraft Chamber of Halle, Saxony-Anhalt State, signed a cooperation agreement with the Education and Investment Group Joint Stock Company in training, providing study abroad consulting, and supplying human resources for the German labor market.
Currently, the German labor market is experiencing a shortage of young, skilled workers, with many organizations and businesses seeking to recruit Vietnamese employees. Therefore, the delegation hopes to cooperate with educational institutions in the province to select, train, and supply human resources for employment in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Leaders of the Halle City Arts and Crafts Chamber and their partners also shared information and answered questions about the labor market, theoretical and practical training, income levels, and working environment in Germany.
Leaders of departments and agencies requested that the leaders of the Handicrafts and Fine Arts Chamber of Halle, Saxony-Anhalt, and their partners continue to act as a bridge to help departments and agencies sign cooperation agreements with reputable agencies, businesses, and universities in Halle, Saxony-Anhalt, regarding training in various fields, improving skills, and supporting students and workers to study, live, and work in Halle, Saxony-Anhalt in particular, and the Federal Republic of Germany in general. Furthermore, they proposed connecting experts from the Federal Republic of Germany to Quang Tri province to support the training and development of high-quality, skilled human resources at vocational training institutions in the area.
Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong emphasized that Vietnam and Germany have had nearly 40 years of cooperative relations and development. Many units and businesses from the Federal Republic of Germany are currently cooperating and investing in the province, achieving many positive results. The Provincial People's Committee will direct relevant departments, agencies, and units to coordinate closely and actively to ensure the best possible results in the exploration and cooperation process, bringing practical, long-term, and sustainable benefits.
During the working session, representatives from the Department of Education and Training and the Education and Investment Group Joint Stock Company signed a memorandum of understanding outlining cooperation contents for the period 2024-2028, aiming to develop strategic relationships, cultural exchange, human resource training, trade connections, technology transfer, and attract investment between educational institutions and units in Quang Tri province and partners in the Federal Republic of Germany.
