On the morning of October 15th, under the chairmanship of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De, the Provincial People's Committee held its regular monthly citizen reception for October.

Comrade Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - presided over the regular citizen reception session in October 2024.

Ms. Dang Thi Huong Lan, residing at Alley 74, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Hung Binh Ward, petitioned the competent authorities to reorganize and handle public assets in the Nghe An Provincial People's Court Staff Housing Complex so that the 8 households can have stable lives.

Citizen Dang Thi Huong Lan, residing in Lien Co block, Hung Dung ward (Vinh City), presented the content of her petition.

Previously, in 1993, nearly 650 square meters of land, plot number 25, sheet 37, which originally served as a communal dining hall for the Provincial People's Court, was auctioned off and sold to local households.

Leaders of the People's Court of Nghe An province reported on the progress in resolving citizens' petitions.

According to the plans for the arrangement and handling of houses and land by the Ministry of Finance and the Supreme People's Court, the entire (former) working headquarters of the People's Court of Nghe An province will be transferred to Nghe An province for management and handling.

Chairman of the Vinh City People's Committee, Tran Ngoc Tu, reported on the details of the incident.

Nghe An province has approved the land subdivision plan for the residential area. Therefore, land use right certificates cannot be issued based on the current situation because it does not conform to the plan. Instead, land acquisition, site clearance, and land allocation must be completed before land use right certificates can be issued.
According to a representative of the Vinh City People's Committee, in order to implement these steps, the previous managing unit must return the land. However, because the Supreme People's Court has not yet responded regarding the rearrangement of land and buildings, the Provincial People's Court has not been able to carry out this task.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De concluded the citizen reception session.

Concluding the public consultation session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De shared the difficulties faced by citizens and emphasized that their requests were legitimate, but due to many objective reasons, they have not yet been fully resolved. To ensure the rights of the people, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial People's Court to continue monitoring the situation, submit a report, and request the Supreme People's Court to provide a written response regarding the arrangement of land and housing in the old residential area before November 30, 2024.
