The leader of the Department of Education and Training of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, confirmed that the case has not been resolved and will continue to suspend teacher Truong Phuong Hanh from work.

Previously, on the morning of September 30, Mr. Le Cong Minh, Principal of Chuong Duong Primary School, signed a decision to temporarily suspend Ms. Truong Phuong Hanh, homeroom teacher of class 4/3 and head of grade 4, from her civil servant position for 15 days.

The decision clearly stated that the reason for the temporary suspension was "To verify and clarify the complaint, stabilize the situation of parents and students while considering disciplinary action."

Ms. Hanh is responsible for handing over records, documents, machinery, equipment, teaching aids and other contents related to the school and class to the new homeroom teacher.

The above actions were taken after the uproar when teacher Truong Phuong Hanh asked parents for money to buy a computer; at the same time, she used inappropriate words when speaking.

The above actions of the teacher caused outrage in public opinion.

To ensure the best learning conditions for students, teacher Dinh Thi Kim Thoa - Vice Principal of the school - replaced teacher Truong Phuong Hanh in charge of teaching students of class 4/3 on the morning of September 30.
