Out of a total of 6 products evaluated and ranked in the second round of 2023, Vu Quang district ( Ha Tinh province) reviewed and recognized 5 products as achieving OCOP 3-star status.
The Vu Quang District OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council recently conducted inspections and reviews of production and business establishments and evaluated and classified OCOP products for the second phase of 2023.
During this round, Vu Quang district had 6 products submitted for evaluation and classification as OCOP products. However, based on the criteria, one product did not meet the requirements and therefore did not qualify for classification.
During the evaluation, the business owners presented and introduced their products and answered related questions requested by the council members.
The council members personally visited and inspected the production facilities.
Next, the council members evaluated and ranked the products according to specific criteria such as: raw materials; product packaging, labels; product distribution, marketing, and promotion capabilities; and compliance with regulations regarding product quality declarations...
At the same time, we provided feedback on several issues related to procedures, packaging designs, and production facilities, with the aim of further improving the quality and design of our products.
Prior to this, council members had personally inspected the production facilities and reviewed relevant documents.
Out of the 6 products submitted for evaluation and recommendation, 5 were recognized as meeting OCOP 3-star standards.
At the evaluation meeting, out of 6 products submitted for assessment and recommendation, 5 were recognized as achieving OCOP 3-star standards, including: Vu Quang - Minh Chau honey (Tho Dien commune); Duc Giang honey (Duc Giang commune); Manh Hung honey infused with male papaya flowers (An Phu commune); and Hien Ty ham and sausages (Vu Quang town).
To date, Vu Quang district has 18 products that have achieved OCOP 3-star certification.
Through evaluation and ranking, the aim is to identify and honor high-quality agricultural products with high utility value and potential for large-scale production. This helps local people promote and introduce their products to the market.
