Chief Inspector of the Department of Transport - Mr. Truong Van Son said that in January and the Lunar New Year holiday of At Ty 2025, the inspection force organized a propaganda meeting on legal regulations on road transport activities; inspected and checked the protection of road traffic infrastructure. Through the inspection, the inspectors made a record of 5 cases with signs of violations; of which 2 cases were under the responsibility of the Department of Transport Inspectorate (fine of 18 million VND), the remaining 3 cases were under the responsibility of the local authorities.

The inspection force also inspected automobile transportation activities and transportation support services at Chu Lai Airport. Inspected compliance with legal regulations on safety conditions at inland waterway terminals and cross-river passenger terminals on local rivers. Through the implementation of official duties, the Department of Transport Inspectorate discovered and recorded 10 cases of administrative violations, with a total fine of 67.8 million VND.

Through the work of protecting traffic infrastructure and ensuring traffic order and safety on rivers, the inspection force combines propaganda and dissemination of laws to organizations and individuals on regulations on operating conditions of inland waterway ports; operating conditions of vehicle owners and operators of inland waterway vehicles transporting passengers when participating in traffic.
