On September 8th, Tran Cong Dung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nhan Co commune ( Lam Dong province ), stated that local authorities and functional forces have basically resolved the landslide area on Dao Nghia - Quang Khe road, the section passing through Hamlet 17, Nhan Co commune.

According to Mr. Dung, due to prolonged heavy rain in recent days, a landslide occurred on the morning of September 7th, with soil from a higher point falling onto the road in Hamlet 17.
Immediately after receiving the information, the authorities promptly directed the village's self-governing committee to coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect the situation and implement remedial measures to ensure safe travel for the people.
Local authorities warn that this section of road is prone to landslides, especially during the rainy season, so people should limit travel through this area.

Similarly, on September 6-7, several landslides occurred in hamlets 4, 8, and 14 of Kien Duc commune (Lam Dong province), causing significant damage to people's property.
According to preliminary reports, the landslides caused no casualties but damaged much property and crops belonging to local residents.
