Fishermen in Thanh Hoa province currently operating at sea have received information about typhoon number 2 and are maintaining regular contact with relevant authorities, their families, and local governments.

Fishing boats from Hau Loc district entered the De Canal to take shelter from typhoon number 2.
According to a quick report from the Provincial Border Guard Command, the province has 6,037 vessels/21,691 workers. As of this afternoon (July 22), 5,377 vessels/17,957 workers have anchored at ports. Currently, 660 vessels/3,734 workers are still operating at sea; specifically, 654 vessels/3,674 workers are in the Gulf of Tonkin area; and 6 vessels/60 workers are in the South China Sea.
Vessels operating at sea have received information about Typhoon No. 2 and are maintaining regular contact with authorities, family, and local government.
Currently, coastal districts, towns, and cities are actively coordinating with the Provincial Border Guard Command to continue guiding ships and vessels (including tourist boats) still operating at sea and along the coast to proactively move out of dangerous areas or to safe shelters; and to take measures to ensure safety for tourism, aquaculture, and fishing activities at sea and along the coast.
