This year is the 27th time the Euréka Award has been held and has gradually affirmed itself as a prestigious academic playground for the student community passionate about scientific research across the country.
The 2025 season recorded a record number of entries with 2,179 topics from over 7,500 candidates from 161 universities, colleges and academies nationwide.
Through the selection round from school level and the semi-final round in Ho Chi Minh City, 192 topics from 84 schools were selected for the final round. Of which, 36 schools were in Ho Chi Minh City and 48 schools from provinces and cities.
These are excellent research topics that will be presented, demonstrating research skills before professional scientific councils to be able to be among the most outstanding topics honored in this year's award season.
It is also an opportunity for students to exchange, connect and initiate new scientific ideas.
The 15 research fields within the framework of the Euréka 2025 award include: economics , social sciences, educational sciences, information technology, administration - law, engineering technology, culture - arts, resources and environment, medical - pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biology, food technology, planning - architecture and construction, agricultural sciences, physics.
Within the framework of the activities in the final round, there were sports exchanges between students of different schools. Along with that, there were also exchange activities that created opportunities for students to meet, connect and expand their network of friends. Thereby, they could exchange knowledge and inspire each other on the journey of scientific research, which has been the goal that this scientific playground has been aiming for for many years.
Euréka has become a favorite scientific playground for students nationwide, organized annually by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City National University.
The program is assigned to the Center for Youth Science and Technology Development as the permanent organizing committee, with the support of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City and the Tam Nguyen Viet Charity Social Fund.
