According to statistics from Hanoi Railway Company Limited, after 6 months of commercial operation, nearly 3.4 million passengers have traveled on the Nhon - Hanoi Station Metro line, specifically the elevated section from Nhon to Cau Giay. On average, more than 480,000 passengers travel on the line each month.

Notably, the proportion of passengers using monthly passes accounts for over 60% of the total number of passengers. This shows that urban rail is a form of public transportation that people are interested in and use regularly, especially students and working professionals.

The Nhon-Hanoi Station Metro line, an elevated section from Nhon to Cau Giay, spanning 8.5km, commenced commercial operation on August 8, 2024. During the first 15 days of free travel, the number of passengers reached over 100,500.

A representative from Hanoi Railway Company Limited stated that the underground section from Cau Giay to Hanoi Station is currently under intensive construction. This underground section is expected to be operational in 2026.
