(Dan Tri) - The Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF) considers Quang Hai to be the most dangerous player of the Vietnamese team at the AFF Cup 2024.
On December 8, the AFF Cup will officially kick off. This is the most anticipated event in Southeast Asian football. The Vietnamese team is determined to win the championship of this tournament since 2018.

Ahead of the tournament, the Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF) has selected the most notable faces of this tournament. Among them, midfielder Quang Hai is the chosen face.
Commenting on Quang Hai's talent, AFF wrote: "Quang Hai is the best player at the AFF Cup 2018, the tournament in which the Vietnamese team won the championship for the second time in history. In this year's tournament, the midfielder born in 1997 was once again the conductor of the "Golden Star Warriors" aiming for the third title.
The Vietnamese team was very close to winning the championship in 2022, when they reached the final but lost to Thailand.
In 2018, when he was only 20 years old, Quang Hai shone brightly. This player contributed greatly to helping the Vietnam U23 team win the runner-up position at the U23 Asian Cup in Changzhou (China). After that, he continued to be the shining star of the Vietnam team in the AFF Cup championship.
Quang Hai also helped the Vietnamese national team reach the quarter-finals of the 2019 Asian Cup and the final of the 2022 AFF Cup. In his fourth appearance at the AFF Cup, this talented midfielder hopes to etch his name into history along with the Vietnamese national team's championship victory.

In addition to Quang Hai, AFF also named many other notable stars such as Marselino Ferdinan (Indonesia), Jefferson Tabinas (Philippines), Suphanat Mueanta (Thailand), Paulo Josue (Malaysia). Of which, Marselino Ferdinan received a lot of attention when he just scored a double against Saudi Arabia in the third qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup, helping the Indonesian team to a historic victory.
The Vietnamese national team will be in Group B at the AFF Cup 2024 along with Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Laos. We will play our opening match against Laos on December 9th.
