In the next 24 hours, the tropical depression will move westward, traveling about 15 km per hour and gradually weaken into a low pressure area.

At 1:00 p.m. on July 15, the center of the tropical depression was at about 16.3 degrees north latitude, 109.1 degrees east longitude, over the sea from Quang Tri to Quang Nam. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression was level 6 (39 - 49 km/h), gusting to level 8. The tropical depression moved west-northwest at a speed of 10 - 15 km/h.

At 1:00 a.m. on July 16, the center of the tropical depression was at about 16.5 degrees north latitude, 106.5 degrees east longitude, in the southern Laos region. The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression decreased to below level 6. The tropical depression moved westward at a speed of about 15 km/h and gradually weakened into a low pressure area.

Due to the influence of a tropical depression, the offshore sea area from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai has showers and heavy thunderstorms, strong winds of level 6, gusts of level 8, and rough seas.

The sea area from Binh Dinh to Ca Mau, the southern East Sea area (including the sea area of ​​Truong Sa archipelago) has strong winds of level 6, gusting to level 8-9. Rough sea.

The Gulf of Tonkin has strong winds of level 5, sometimes level 6. Rough seas.
