"We reject the unfounded and false information about the situation of the Khmer people in Vietnam."
The Khmer people are an inseparable part of the community of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam, living together in equality and harmony, and contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland throughout the country's history.
All ethnic groups in Vietnam are treated equally. The Vietnamese State guarantees and creates conditions for development in all aspects to continuously improve the material and spiritual lives of ethnic minorities, preserve their ethnic identity, and promote their good customs, traditions, and culture, contributing to strengthening national unity.
