Bac Ninh ensures safe and serious high school graduation exam

For the 2024 high school graduation exam, Bac Ninh province has 27 examination centers with 750 official examination rooms and 8 backup examination centers, with 17,688 candidates participating.

To date, examination centers have been fully equipped with facilities, equipment, and plans for security, traffic safety, electricity, and medical services, ensuring the best possible conditions for candidates. The preparations have been thorough, in line with the spirit of the Ministry of Education and Training : safe, serious, compliant with regulations, thoughtful, and friendly.

Comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan and the inspection team inspected the preparations for the high school graduation exam at the following examination sites: Luong Tai High School (examination site No. 26) and Thuan Thanh No. 3 High School (examination site No. 23). These are two examination sites with a large number of candidates and examination rooms in the province.

The exam center at Luong Tai High School is a combined exam center with a total of 890 candidates taking the exam in 38 examination rooms, including: Luong Tai High School, Luong Tai High School No. 3, the District's Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center, and independent candidates.

At Thuan Thanh No. 3 High School, there are 735 registered candidates, with 31 official examination rooms and 2 reserve rooms. Of these, 531 candidates are 12th-grade students from Thuan Thanh No. 3 High School; the remainder are from Thuan Thanh Continuing Education Center and independent candidates.

After directly inspecting the exam paper storage room, examination rooms, waiting rooms, and areas for candidates' belongings; the system of informational posters serving the exam; and the drill for sudden power outages, Comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan highly appreciated the proactive efforts of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Examination Steering Committee, which is the Department of Education and Training, the member departments of the Steering Committee, and the localities in preparing for the exam.

To ensure the exam is conducted safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations, Comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan requested that examination centers focus on reviewing all aspects of the work throughout the examination process. They should proactively coordinate with relevant agencies and localities, strengthen security measures inside and outside the examination areas; proactively prepare contingency plans for handling adverse weather conditions; and ensure adequate conditions regarding food safety, electricity, water, and medical services.

Comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan noted that examination centers need to review the list of examination staff and strictly prohibit unauthorized persons from entering the examination area. For examination rooms near residential areas, measures must be taken to ensure absolute safety in accordance with guidelines. At the same time, strengthen communication through mass media to ensure that candidates and parents understand and grasp the examination regulations; and ensure the best physical and mental health for the candidates.

Regarding official statements, the Head of the Steering Committee assigned the permanent agency of the Provincial Examination Steering Committee, the Director of the Department of Education and Training, to speak on professional matters; and the Deputy Director of the Provincial Police to speak on issues related to the security and safety of the examination. In addition, they proactively developed scenarios and solutions to handle any unusual situations that might arise. The province's goal is to organize a safe, serious, compliant, thorough, friendly, and high-achieving examination; without covering up violations; but also without causing stress to the candidates.
