Closing Ceremony of ASEAN-China Maritime Exercise 2018

This is the first time the ASEAN and Chinese Navies have held maritime exercises at sea.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, a representative of the Chinese Navy said that the success of ACMEX-2018 is a good opportunity for the ASEAN and Chinese Navies to continue to strengthen solidarity and build strategic trust, contributing to maintaining peace and stability in the regional seas.

The host country China also expressed its gratitude to the ASEAN Navies for sending ships and officers and sailors to participate in ACMEX-2018 in Zhanjiang waters this time. The Chinese Navy hopes and is ready to organize larger-scale exercises with ASEAN Navies.
