Secretary of Da Nang City Party Committee inspects and encourages people in flooded areas of Hoi An

On October 28, Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, inspected the actual situation of flood response in Hoi An Tay and Hoi An wards.

During the inspection, the Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee acknowledged the proactiveness and timeliness of the local government and functional agencies in the work of evacuating and promptly supporting people according to the "4 on-site" motto. At the same time, he visited and encouraged people to overcome difficulties caused by floods.

Mr. Le Ngoc Quang emphasized that Hoi An's top priority is to ensure absolute safety for residents and tourists. Local authorities need to proactively plan to evacuate visitors to safe places before the water level rises, and at the same time guide people to proactively respond and not be subjective in any situation.

The Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee also noted that the rainy and flood weather is still complicated, with the risk of power and water outages. Authorities must maintain regular contact to ensure timely support for residents and tourists, especially in isolated or cut-off areas.

At the inspection, the Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee praised the spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance of the people of Hoi An. Although the locality has a lot of experience in flood response, he also requested that people absolutely must not be negligent or subjective, and must always put safety of life first.
