During the inspection, the Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee acknowledged the proactive and timely efforts of the local government and relevant agencies in relocating and assisting the people in a timely manner according to the "four on-the-spot" principle. He also visited and encouraged the people to overcome the difficulties caused by the floods.
Mr. Le Ngoc Quang emphasized that Hoi An's top priority is ensuring the absolute safety of residents and tourists. Local authorities need to proactively plan for evacuating tourists to safe areas before water levels rise, and at the same time guide residents to proactively respond and not be complacent in any situation.
The Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee also noted that the rainy and flood weather conditions remain complex, and there is a risk of power outages and water shortages. Relevant agencies must maintain regular communication to ensure timely support for residents and tourists, especially in areas that are cut off or isolated.
During the inspection, the Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee praised the solidarity and mutual support of the people of Hoi An. While a locality with extensive experience in flood response, he also emphasized the need to absolutely avoid complacency and prioritize the safety of lives above all else.
On this occasion, the Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee visited and presented gifts to encourage several households severely affected by floods in Hoi An Tay and Hoi An wards.
