Quang Ngai Provincial Party Secretary requests to complete housing for people before Tet

On December 5, in Tay Tra commune (Quang Ngai province), the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province awarded more than 700 million VND to support 20 households whose houses were damaged by storms and floods. Of which, 6 households whose houses were completely collapsed were supported with 60 million VND/household; 9 households whose houses were damaged 50%-70% were supported with 30 million VND/household; 5 households with damage of 30%-50% were supported with 15 million VND/household.

Visiting the family of Mrs. Ho Thi Huong - whose house was completely collapsed due to a landslide, Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee Ho Van Nien gave gifts, encouraged and shared the difficulties with the family. Mrs. Huong received support of about 100 million VND to build a new house, including 60 million VND from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province, 10 million VND from the Provincial Red Cross Society and about 20 million VND from the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tay Tra commune.

Provincial Party Secretary Ho Van Nien requested local authorities to mobilize maximum resources to promptly complete repairs and rebuild houses for households affected by natural disasters. Accordingly, repairs must be completed before December 31; new houses must be completed before January 31, 2026, so that families can have stable housing and feel secure during Tet.
