Appointing Major General Dang Hong Duc as Deputy Minister of Public Security

On January 3, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed a decision to appoint Major General Dang Hong Duc, member of the Central Public Security Party Committee and Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security , to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Public Security.


The decision takes effect from January 3, 2025.

Major General Dang Hong Duc was born in 1977; hometown is Nam Truc district, Nam Dinh province.

Before being appointed, Major General Dang Hong Duc held the positions of Director of Yen Bai Provincial Police and Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security.

Thus, the Ministry of Public Security currently has a Minister, Senior General Luong Tam Quang, who was just approved by the National Assembly for appointment in June 2024, and 7 Deputy Ministers: Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To; Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung; Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long; Lieutenant General Le Van Tuyen; Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Lam and Major General Dang Hong Duc.
