Greenhouse gas inventory knowledge training

QNgTV- On the morning of December 8, the Quang Ngai Center for Consulting, Science and Technology Development Services organized a training course to improve knowledge on greenhouse gas inventory, carbon credits and international green standards.

The course attracted more than 80 students from industrial park enterprises, Economic Zone Management Board, representatives of departments, branches and educational institutions in the province.

Provide students with basic knowledge about climate change, requirements for emission inventories according to national regulations and opportunities for businesses to participate in the carbon market. Provide specific instructions on how to set up data, figures, and determine emission coefficients according to the technical guidelines of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. How to prepare reports according to the provisions of Decree 06 of the Government regulating greenhouse gas emissions reduction and ozone layer protection. Methods for designing, implementing, and fully and accurately identifying direct and indirect emission sources. Thereby, calculating and managing the quality of greenhouse gas emissions inventories according to international standards.

The course is part of a series of activities to support local businesses in meeting the requirements of sustainable development, aiming to reduce emissions and participate more deeply in the carbon market in the coming time. The synchronous implementation of greenhouse gas inventories not only helps businesses comply with Government regulations, but also contributes to the national commitment to bring net emissions to "0" by 2050.
