The People's Committee of Ca Mau province has just decided to adjust the investment policy of the project to build Phan Ngoc Hien square with the shrimp symbol, increasing the capital by more than 43 billion VND.


On December 19, according to a source from Giao Thong Newspaper, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province adjusted the scale, total investment, capital source and implementation time of the Phan Ngoc Hien Square Construction project (Ca Mau city, Ca Mau province).

The shrimp symbol is present at Phan Ngoc Hien Square (Ca Mau province).

Accordingly, after adjustment, the project has a total investment area of ​​8.905 hectares, including: site clearance; drainage system; water supply system; traffic system; internal roads, flower beds; overall power supply system; lighting and communication systems.

Along with that is the construction of the square nameplate; central stage and artistic water fountain system; lake, symbolic foundation; green tree system; public restroom, technical house; parking lot; rest hut; Ca Mau shrimp symbol; upgrading Le Duan street; flagpole.

The total adjusted project investment is over VND 279.5 billion (an increase of more than VND 43 billion) from the provincial budget in the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021 - 2025 period, the 2026 - 2030 period and the project implementation period from 2023 - 2026.

The project is invested by the Ca Mau Traffic Construction Project Management Board. Before adjustment, the project used a land area of ​​7.59 hectares, with a total investment of more than 236 billion VND. The project is expected to be completed in April 2025.
