Due to the impact of climate change, natural disasters are becoming more severe, occurring with greater intensity, causing serious landslides, while some units of Region 3 are stationed in areas with complex geology, with a very high risk of landslides.

Colonel Nguyen Thien Quan, Commander of Naval Region 3, requested leaders and commanders of agencies and units to thoroughly grasp and understand the situation and tasks; carefully prepare forces and means to be ready to carry out the tasks of natural disaster prevention, search and rescue when there is a situation according to the motto "4 on-site" (On-site command, on-site forces, on-site means and on-site logistics).
