"Some information that self-driving tours will start in early November between Mong Cai City (Quang Ninh) and Dongxing City (Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China) is incorrect," said Mr. Tuan.

According to Mr. Tuan, up to now, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province has just approved a pilot plan to manage Chinese self-driving tourist cars entering Mong Cai City, Ha Long City (Quang Ninh) and coordinate the management of Vietnamese self-driving tourist cars entering China through Mong Cai international border gate.

Based on the Government's approval of the above pilot plan, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province has basically completed the conditions to welcome guests by this type of self-driving tourist car.

As Thanh Nien reported, recently the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province agreed to reopen self-driving tourist cars for Chinese tourists to Mong Cai and Ha Long; as well as self-driving tourist cars for Vietnamese tourists to China through Mong Cai international border gate.
