Da Nang police strive to issue ID cards to people after the merger

At the headquarters of the Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order (183 Phan Dang Luu Street, Hoa Cuong Ward) in Da Nang City this morning, July 8th, many people arrived early to register for the issuance of identity cards and level 2 electronic identification.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Ha The Xuyen, Head of the Administrative Management and Social Order Police Department of Da Nang City Police, after the new Da Nang city was established based on the merger of Quang Nam province and Da Nang city, the unit proactively implemented measures and promptly directed forces to quickly arrange and set up 25 points for receiving citizens to handle administrative procedures in the field of issuing identity cards and electronic identification accounts in the city.

The Administrative Management and Social Order Police Department has a staff of 193 people, and the leadership of the Da Nang City Police Department has shown concern and provided them with an independent, spacious office and a complete and modern system of equipment to support their work.

Present at the Hoi An Ward Police Station (No. 6 Ngo Gia Tu Street, Hoi An Ward) from early morning on July 8th to register for his child's identity card, Mr. Nguyen Van Tien - a resident of Hoi An Ward - said: "My household registration was in Cam Pho Ward, formerly part of Hoi An City. After Hoi An Ward was established, I was instructed to come to the ward police station to process the relevant documents."

According to Mr. Tien, although there was a large number of people coming to transact business, the police force still provided attentive guidance, and the paperwork was processed quickly and efficiently.

Captain Le Quang Nam, a community police officer at Hoi An Ward Police Station, said that immediately after taking up his new post in Hoi An Ward, the Hoi An Ward Police force promptly began working, preparing all necessary procedures and equipment to ensure timely service to the people.

According to Captain Le Quang Nam, despite initial difficulties after the merger, the Hoi An Ward Police force has been working diligently and with high concentration, day and night, to overcome obstacles and complete tasks, ensuring that citizens have convenient access to public services and can promptly complete necessary paperwork.

From July 1st to the present, the Da Nang City Police have received a total of 1,568 identity card applications and 1,002 level 2 electronic identification applications.
