In 2024, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Provincial Border Guard Command thoroughly implemented the resolutions and directives of the Party at all levels. They proactively advised and proposed to the Party Committee, the Border Guard Command Headquarters, the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Committee on managing and protecting border sovereignty and security, and building a strong provincial Border Guard force in all aspects.
Simultaneously, leadership and guidance ensured the strict maintenance of combat readiness; and improved the quality and effectiveness of border defense tasks. Border defense diplomacy and people-to-people diplomacy were actively and effectively implemented.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Dung highly appreciated the review report, which comprehensively assessed the strengths, weaknesses, and causes of limitations in leadership in carrying out border defense tasks, force building, and Party building in 2024. The Provincial Border Guard Command did a good job of monitoring and forecasting the situation, promptly advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on policies and strategies to flexibly handle issues related to sovereignty, border security, and maritime areas.
Comrade Nguyen Duc Dung emphasized that in the coming time, the Party Committee of the Provincial Border Guard Command will continue to effectively lead the implementation of directives and resolutions of the Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, the Party Committee of the Border Guard Command, and the Provincial Party Committee on ideological work in the new situation; prioritize the education of revolutionary moral qualities, maintain the ethics and lifestyle of cadres and Party members; proactively fight to thwart all " peaceful evolution" activities, and protect the ideological foundation of the Party.
Actively monitor the situation on the border and in the sea; strengthen patrols and closely control border lines and markers on land and sea borders; combat smuggling and trade fraud.
Coordinate with all levels, sectors, and armed forces in the province to build safe areas, creating conditions for local economic, cultural, and social development; promote the effective participation of border guard officers in district-level Party committees, officers assigned to communes, and Party members in Party branch activities in border and island villages.
