Method 1: Direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) as well as regulations of Ho Chi Minh City National University, admission based on international language certificates combined with high school academic results.
Method 2: Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam.
Method 3: Admission based on the results of the competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City National University.

In 2024, Ho Chi Minh City University of Science will have 6 admission methods. This year, the school will eliminate the admission method based on the results of the international high school training program for Vietnamese candidates studying at foreign schools.
